When it comes to data center construction, mechanical flushes are a pretty standard part of the process to ensure all the HVAC and cooling systems are clean, debris-free, and ready for operation. - Hydraulic System Flushing:
For data centers, you often have chilled water systems that need a thorough flush. This involves circulating water mixed with cleaning agents through the pipes to remove any construction of debris, scale, or contaminants. After flushing, the system is usually filled with treated water to prevent corrosion. - Glycol Loop Flushing:
If the data center uses a glycol-based cooling loop, you’ll flush that loop similarly to a water system, but with the appropriate glycol mixture. This helps ensure that any residues or contaminants are cleared out before the system goes live. - Condenser and Cooling Tower Flushing:
